I know, its a little late, I did buy the game before xmas in 2014 when it came out, just didnt play it. So I decided to give it a try....this is the perfect game for 'naders. I can believe how many kills I got just sitting in a doorway throwing nades then wasting all of my ammo....no one was trying to kill me!!!! Still trying to wrap my head around the game mechanics of Titanfall....I should love this game, I never get 1st place in a match! its just funny, really, if you dont shoot someone your mech spawns faster.....everyone was just sitting in corners not moving, just waiting for their mechs to spawn...i just didnt care about a mech so it was open season on noobs for like 2 hours...my k/d ratio was 25-1 I think. I dont know I had a record 74 kills in my second match ever playing the game. Would have had more if I had an ammo box! The game was pretty fun but because of this mech spawning idiot idea and them adding these completely non-AI minions to the mix, it lost the feel of being a horrible player. Even when most of the players are just hiding waiting for the spawn. I did realize that you get a lot less points killing little guys while waiting but I still finished almost every round in the top two spots. Whenever I tried a mech I didnt do so good
This was a victim of Origin really, it suffered from being a new franchise with no existing fanbase and being restricted to a distribution system that a large portion of the gaming community didn't like or want. It was a fairly good game but I'm pretty sure I installed Origin only for the beta and thought it wasn't worth the high price and being locked into Origin. I'm guessing that may have been the general consensus.
