    Had a proper go on the multiplayer last night, overall I'm enjoying it, but the server experience still isn't great. Little bit of lag and finding I'm dying after getting behind cover and things like that.

    Loving the locker map, as Weets was saying, it's just like Metro, plenty of nades, resupplies heals and general point whoring.

    Still probably only played about three or four maps though.

    i noticed quite a few ocassions where i would die when i was sure i was behind cover. this being confirmed when you see the orrange guy cam. Very irritating.

    Crashes seem worse on the BFB server than others i have played on but this could be it's because thats where i play for the majority of the time.? i have also started to get game crashes also but thats just a general BF4 game issue ow matter where i play.

    I'm thinking this is to do with lag and that I'm actually out of cover when I'm hit, but the lag doesn't register the bullet hits until I'm behind a wall or something.

    I didn't have any issues after Weets changed it to 50 slots. It's now been put back to 64 since last nights patches so we'll see if that's made any difference.

    and also the, what i will call from now on, Tango Cam is annoying. can't put my finger on why but it just sit right in my head.

    With client-side hit detection, each client is extrapolating what is going on until it receives an update from the server. The netcode in BF4 seems to be favouring the shooter, more so than in BF3. The only options are to lower the Network Smoothing Factor in Gameplay settings and alter your play style to compensate.

    Truth ^^

    Set at 50%, the network smoothing in effect adds about 50ms to your ping. But (and it's a big one) if you lower that setting, people start teleporting all over the place. I've played about with that setting and tbh, it's the lesser of two evils. Just duck sooner.

    I must've had all your luck then, my best night so far. Played five, won five. Even got top scorer in one round. And the best bit, no server crashes although my client bombed out between rounds.

    Had an odd moment; was in a six man squad, don't know how that happened, finished one round with five dudes, started the next with six.

    I seem to have issues with SP where it'll freeze for a second every so often. Get quite tedious and annoying as you play and changing graphic settings dont make a difference. Also had some odd ocurances such as falling through elevator floors and the likes.

    MP seems to work well though.

    Also, as in BF3, still enjoy hardcore the most. Now need to give rush a proper try.

    hey GFISH, That run of wins carried on when you stopped. Yesterday, My best run at the end was played 19 won.18...never seen so many blue squares.
    Jumped from rank 9 to rank 17, maxed out support kits and went from 42% win rate overall to 60%
    Was a good evenings work, shared with 9 different BFB members and was just liek the old days with BFB squad taking 5 out of the top 6 places on the scoreboard

    Imm, This was in 2142 and definitely in BF3. Sometimes you just jumped behind the wall to take cover and then you suddenly die, although you are sure you were out of the line of fire. So annoying!
