In case people don't know, the revised BF3 maps coming to BF4 are: Operation Metro Operation Firestorm Gulf of Oman Caspian Border They will be released in the Second Assault expansion pack, details at BF4Central - scroll to the bottom for info and videos. Personally I'm looking forward to Gulf of Oman and Operation Firestorm.
I'm looking forward to Metro and Firestorm mostly. Didn't play much Caspian. I would like to see a BF4 version of Karkand and Sharqi, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was another Wake.
Metro will just another cluster duck if they don't change it quite a bit. Shame there won't be river crossing as that on new frost bite would be great with all the buildings.
the explosive warhead uav is already available on the support kit almost unlocked it all the guns are unlockable as well from achievements check the tab at an end of the round Operation metro looks good the corridors look to be wider especially the locker room areas of ceiling that can be dropped and lift to the upper floors thou they look a bit exposed and caspian border looks like its gonna be chaos
I've competed the assignment for the MTAR but didn't unlock it and from what I've read a lot of people have the same problem. I don't think they're supposed to be visible yet as they're part of the China Rising expansion.
odd because ive been shot with both the mtar and the L96 you might need to unlock it on the kit after getting it from the achievement i have the ucav in my equipment tree just havent gotten the c4 unlocked yet
Not sure as EA are running out of ideas for maps. its like paying for the maps again when we have them already on bf3
Caspien they've put a giant tower on D????? fecking sniper heaven And they've put some giant walls in? the point being to make it even harder for infantry to get about. Metro they've put working lifts in where the fake ones were before which will do nothing to change the camping nature of the map. They would have been better off putting the lifts further towards the back where the ticket office was to provide a 4th way up from the lower level. Other than that looks identical.
Did you watch the video? The tower will be blown up. The lifts on Metro frees up the first escalator and side stairs because whoever controls *the* flag cannot dominate anyone trying to get up from the lower level in close quarters meaning in theory it'll be easier to break through.
First look of Caspian and Metro from a different perspective. Added Gulf of Oman. I actually quite liked that map. More cover for infantry and the storm making sniping impossible are nice additions.
