Had some games last night on both, mixed feelings. Was good to give them a crack again but they are looking very dated which is to be expected.
Don;t tempt me tolly I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove titan mode. And Tolly if you ask me yes Is still remember the clutch last attack on the titan core that you did to win the game against a top rated russian guild/clan titan team. I also remember when we had to face INF-UK in clanbase you said "Your boned" I was watching a nostalgia 2142 video. ANd then I saw the year of release. I still can;t believe 2142 celebrates it 10th anniversary and it has been that long since I have known you guys. Now don;t get me wrong ATM I really love BF1. But since 2142 no game mode or actual standalone game since then has matched it. I almost tempted to start playing game but nostalgia is a double edge sword. For me a lot of it besides playing the actual mode is the people you played with which just elevated it to a higher level than the actual game mode which was amazing in my opinion. Before I started playing conquest I spent 400 hours of titan before I set foot on a conquest map. With the exception of Tunis and Camp G I spent my entire 2142 career on titan mode. I mean in those days I use to play with tolly, weets, neonlighter, billybedlam, martin9807, reaper, itchy. Most of the players have long gone and I don;t think it would be the same. It would make me miss the old days for the old skool players that I spent hundreds of hours of attacking and defending titans. I am hoping they will remake it 2142 after BF1. But I doubt it would ever come to be as 2142 wasn't as popular as the other ones which is a shame as it had the best game mode out of all of them. I would probably go crazy if they ever released it with titan mode remade and probably would quit my job just to play that for a year. I think BF1 is the game atm which recreate a lot of the feelings I had for 2142 and titan mode. It comes close. But 2142 and CoH with the BFB boys will never be eclipsed again for me. It the culmination of emotions which I had playing with those guys in those games you had it all.
