BATTLEFIELD Creative Types Needed For Clan Battlelog Emblem

So, amongst the plethora of penis and booby emblems that prevail on BF4, there have been some really nice clan related ones, and it makes a difference when you see multiple guys sporting the same emblem as well as the tag on their name.

Now, I cant draw anything for ****, so i was wondering if
A. do we think it would be good to have a BFB emblem that represents us well, (Obviously some grenade action to be included and the BFB)
B. Have we got any creative peeps who would like to come up with something?

i think that since we are encouraging people to come and play on our server regularly and then join the community, the opportunity to display the clan battle log picture as a precursor to getting tagged will allow non tagged members to still feel they belong and can be vaunted as a stepping stone to Tagged status.

Is this way out of left field or are peeps in favour of this suggestion?


Either way, if someone wants to offer creative services to help me out for my logo, I will be most grateful...

I've submitted 3 or 4 so far.
There are instructions on how to copy emblems from the website, and paste them in your Battlelog.
There may be one that we all think is good but that can be copied and tweaked to make it our own.

One for Weets, just needs a nade tattoo on it.

Not sure about the BFB arse tattoo?

Possibly something a bit more classy/ a simple BFB logo similar to one on the website for added continuity

i like the idea, I'm currently sporting the bfb as me emblem but having one that's the same for the whole clan is a good idea

This a starting point? Problem is, i've not unlocked the Grenade 'icon' yet!

this is the emblem i am currently using tried to put BFB in where the eagle is but could not get it quite small enough without making mistakes thou if can get it small enough would put it across the bottom of the grenade itself

The B is an 8 with a vertical bar on the left, and the F is made from other vertical and horizontal bars. You could make any letter with enough planning/fiddling using layered objects, but trying to make words would be an absolute pain because of the lack of any group tool.

I've found zooming in helps for the placement of objects, but the whole thing is really fiddly - also save it often, it's basically the only form of undo.

If you get an IMAGE_SAVE _ERROR, try selecting an early object and then save again - that seems to work for me.

Cheers works nicely, good for backups using the Code options - wonder if the code can be imported into something like Corel Draw and then exported out again, would make life easier.

i believe it can but you need the source designs still be in the code

do a google search for it theres alot of stuff about making designs for bf4 emblems

Fiddled with the previous version of my attempt, here is the modified result:



The vertical stroke on the F is now thicker, as per the B, pin loop darker and vertical lines added to grenade body.

If you have any suggestions about colours, I could try them - I suspect simple design and high contrast will work better for clarity.

you know if anyone else wants to tryout there own colour scemes or edit elibars work you cna just go into his bf4 profile and copy his emblems and paste them in you own emblems

Great work by the way edibar when i get some more time will try to see if i can make a smaller version of the tag to fit in other designs
