So what is your favourite map in BF4? And why? Ill start. My favourite map is Zavod311. Why? It is my favourite map because it has helicopters, without the plans ruining everything. It has a few tanks each side, however it is easy to avoid them as infantry with the roof and underground. There are a lot of transport vehicles, including helicopters, which means you can travel very fast. The Flags B,C,D, and E are close to each other which means lots of infantry combat! Which is great!
haven't got one yet as I am struggling equally on them all. Don't know if I have just become crap at this game or something else is up but I just can't seem to get a regular flow of kills. more often than not I am losing one on one engagements and if I look left I get shot from the right and visa versa lol. may have to retire and start playing Hello Kitty with Redders
Operation Locker because it's insane infantry only awesomeness. Also like Zavod 311 for similar reasons to you.
like both these as well . also getting the hang of dawnbreaker . but really not played the others much . don't like the dam one . flood zone, im crap at. but don't think iv played it enough to know where the fook I am /going . I mainly like the infantry ones as well .like rumi im struggling. but I think it is learning maps more than anything .
Operation locker by far the best map but ideally 48 players as 64 becomes bit to much of a cluster ****. Dawnbreaker as infantry only is quite good as well, and Zavod would be excellent if they removed the A and F flags. Just having B, C , D, E to fight over would be quality.
I like Shanghai for conquest when it doesn't crash the server or kick everyone Golmund railway for rush the most fun of the rush maps ive played on For Team death match flood zone is fun so many flanking oppurtunities
Not played a single round of Rush or TDM yet. Think I had 5 mins on DOM, by accident, as just been playing conquest.
gotta try rush its a lot more fun than it was in bf3 as long as you got a team that knows what its doing that is also some maps are a bugger with the standard low tickets
I loved Rush in BF3, played it more than Conquest, but that was because Conquest was crap on PS3, not enough players so just went in circles capping flags and not finding anyone to shoot. I haven't tried any other mode than Conquest on BF4 yet though, other than the very brief game of Domination I had during the BETA. I quite enjoyed that as it was very fast paced. Oh and also had half a round of Obliteration on the BETA as well. That was OK, but was literally the first time I got on a server so had no idea where I was going. I'm looking forward to trying out some other game modes.
Reaper, I tried some Rush today. It was great, loads of infantry combat and it forces every into a small area. I think you like might it, also it has limited vehicles.
Tunis harbour belongs to me! Anyway, my favourite maps so far are the infantry based Operation Locker and Flood Zone. I dont mind playing Zavod because at times it has more of an infantry focus. However all the other maps i have played are way too vehicle dominated. Like Rumi i was struggling but my stats are slowly going up, heres hoping it continues!
Need to find out why i'm losing so many one on one scenarios. I have used the new NVidia shadow video capture to get moments when it happens and see whats going on but all it shows me is that I am definitely hitting the other person before they apparently one / couple of shot me and i'm expending loads of rounds????
rumi have you tried turning your network smoothing down its in the gameplay options tab i noticed once you get a nice stable setting on it i get out shot less often
Cheers Ralthen, just tried that and actually had running at zero and didn't notice and problems noticed I was getting more hits and ****. see how goes.
I think for BFB commuinity the strength has always based more around the infantry maps rather than the vehicle ones. With the exception of titan mode in 2142. I would like to see more infantry amps as I really struggle with the vehivle based heavy ones so having said that I quite often find myself playing zavod and locker but mostly locker.
