Battlefield 2142 Initial release date: 17 October 2006 DAMN! It's been a while. Hell, i've known most of you from the BF2 days and 50K days.
TF2 was the closest for me. Overwatch is the closest at the minute, but it's so broken in places every game is a coin toss of pleasure / pain. I don't see any AAA studios making anything fun as they are solely concerned with making games a grind so you purchase loot boxes and season passes. EA/Dice still seem to think Battlefield has to incorporate anything that is popular into it. I'd just settle for BF2/2142/BC2 on a new engine. Maybe we've just got old and all the stuff is awesome, but we're too grumpy to enjoy it.
