It saddens me to do this but I felt that I needed to bring this to BFB members and non-BFB members alike. I am extremely conflicted by this decision as I have known this member a long time considered him a valuable acquaintance. So it breaks my heart to put into writing that I have an official complaint about the member in question. Sure i could let it go and just sweep it under the carpet and no one would notice but we pride ourselves at BFB for being honest, straight talking and having commuinity integrity. But this member has shown he has no regard for these values we have at BFB and therefore it has forced my hand to complain. What am I hoping that this thread will achieve. I hope in the member in question is banished, outcast, shunned, a gorkel jezebel of biliblical nature. Here is what transpired. At roughly 10.55pm Central Cardiff time I appeared on the shoutybox to have a natter and I noticed a conversation between a member in question (which this complaint is about) and Saundie. There was mention of 780ti's and an quad Sli setup via a 3570k. Alarm bells started ringing but my faith in one of BFB's premier gork soon restored my faith in humanity when Saundie replied 'wouldn't it be bottlenecked'. Then there was talk of a shiny new i7 rig and quad sli. Now those of you familar with the box knows that anything you type on the box falls under the BFB gork rulebook and I draw your attention Section 35 paragraph 2b and I quote ' If you type it in the box you gotta do it.' /quote. The member in question showed no respect to teh BFB gork rulebook and his line of defence was 'but I don't have 3k'. Sorry but in the real world this is unacceptable. Nobody and I mean literally mean nobody has the right to talk about gorky stuff and then not do it, using personal finances as some sort of legitimate loophole. Which basically means don;t screw hookers if you don;t have the moolah. A Mr. GFish aka 'fishy' was also present and witness this heinous crime. I am calling all members tagged or not, to distance themselves from this member before they are immorally corrupted and sufffer the same fate. This members name rhymes with 'Walthen'.... Here endeth my official complaint.
shocking - I once typed about wanting to develop a flux capacitor and had to go ahead and build one, return back in time and not make the actual shout box post - as it took quite a lot of identity theft to empty other peoples bank accounts to build said time machine - clearly as my evidence proves beyond all doubt (though obviously you can't see that I did do this, as I did - it worked and the fact you don't remember is proof of fact) shout box posting is like contractual statement I'll get the tar, we need some feathers
thank god for the ignore list... Also here's the irony of the ignore feature. You chose to ignore someone but there is still an option to show ignored messages....
The member in question is a complete and utter bastard. The only thing that comes close to mitigating his offence is that he didn't mention going AMD. I believe that is still considered to be an act of treason in some countries.
I've already sent him to his room to think about what he's done, but I believe further action is required until the rig is built at sent to me for indefinite testing.
