Since the internet has a lot of vulnerabilities, and there are major breaches of online privacy. I have been looking for the way to secure me and my family online. I get to know about VPN service that helps me to stay secure online. A year ago I was finding a VPN to bypass geo-restrictions on service but little did I know that it will also keep me secure. So anyone who has a prior experience with VPN please help.

I have been using NordVPN for about a year. It does what you want in a VPN and is extremely easy to setup and use.

That protects your animosity while surfing but it does NOT protect your system. To properly protect your system you need layered end point protection. Basically what used to be antivirus. There are many solutions, some good, some not so good.

Where do you start? Try AV Comparatives.

It’s an independent review site and has been something I have been using for many years even as a security expert. It has a lot of information on the different types of protection as well as test results. It has both paid and free solutions.

Some of the free solutions are very good such as AVG and Avast. I run AVG myself on my PCs and Android. For Mac and iOS I use Sophos.

There are a lot of options and preferences and at the end of the day almost all are better than nothing. I personally avoid Zapersky because of the Russian government ties and the potential it can be used to spy on you.

IPVanish could well be the way forward for you and your family's streaming, downloading and uploading needs!

IP Vanish, Nord, Express are the among the fine vpn services which you can go for. There are plenty others which are cheap and always offer bundle discounts. So its totally your call. I had a few on my list, just recently made a purchase of Nord. Try looking it up at https://www.bestvpn.co/ or any other ranking websites.

Yah, I bought Nord for 3 years. It was $70 I think. Good deal. Had it a year and am very happy with it. Don’t forget to setup its app kill switch, saves accidentally having something running if it disconnects and gets you nasty emails from your ISP....

So you'd say that ExpressVPN is the superior VPN?

I haven't had any problems with it the past 4-5 months.
