I'm probably not going to be about much over the next few days so would like to wish all BFB'ers a Merry Christmas.

I hope you all have a great couple days of eating and drinking.

Are you spending the day itself with the in-laws?

Yes, I'll be at the in-laws this year. I volunteered for the on call as I haven't done it the previous four years so thought it was about time I did. Also I don't want to do it next year as I'll have another child by then.

On call, I wish I had that, I'm 24/7/365 myself. Already had two security incidents this week too.

That's what happens when you're an important employee. Fortunately I'm close to the bottom of the ladder so I'm only on call one in five weeks, and get an allowance for it.

oh rub salt in it, you get paid for being on call too! you probably get overtime too huh?

Overtime, what's that? We get TOIL if we're lucky.

Yeah, every fifth week for me.
