My email confirmation says estimate delivery on the 7th November and now on the product page it says 27th for the 5900x.

Just have to wait and see....

Maybe during the checkout someone just pipped you to the ones they had in stock, same might of happened to me.

I'm not confident the order even went through. Although I've got a confirmation email, the scan site says it can't find my order, and there's nothing in my order history. Looks like I'm in for a disappointing wait!

Everywhere is getting hammered just give it time to settle down, I can't even log into Ebuyer to check my account either.

On a whim I decided to see how bad the scalping was on eBay - saw that Currys had a listing for the 5950x at the normal RRP, so I decided to take a punt on one. Unfortunately the listing for the 5900x was already out of stock by the time I got to it, otherwise I'd have grabbed one for you.

Logged into my account and it's still saying delivery for Saturday, not counting my chickens yet.

Aye, I think we'll have to wait a while for the dust to settle. Scan haven't taken the payment for the order I placed with them, so who knows whether it went through. Also got an email from Currys to tell me that my order is going to be delayed... I guess there's little risk of ending up with two!

Some promising news; the order I placed on Scan has been processed, and they've taken payment. Current status is "The estimated delivery date of your order is 06 Nov 2020", so fingers crossed, they'll ship it out today.

Hopefully you get shipping notification tonight, when are you putting it all together?

It wasn't shipped yesterday, and I got an email this morning telling me the ETA is the 30th of November. Will see what the Currys order via eBay does, as it may come before the 30th.

Not sure about when to put it together, as there's probably not much point without a CPU!

I picked up a Ryzen 5 3600 on eBay for £140, should be here on Monday. Will tide me over until the 5950x arrives, whenever that may be.

Well looks like ebuyer done me over, they never even had any stock on launch by the looks of it even though they let me choose today for delivery when ordering.

Just have to wait.
