Spec Me Up!

So I need a new PC as this one is to old and was put together by an idiot (AKA me!)

I need to be able to play battlefield one but not cost the earth as im saving for a house at the moment and my misses would kill me if i spent any more house fund money.

Remember in the 12 years ive been playing on the PC i have learnt nothing about how a PC works lol

so if i can get away with having just a new Gcard and a bigger SSD hard drive i would just do that as cant really afford more then £800.

I think MG is spot on there. I had 2500k and think I got 4.5ghz off it so you can get 4ghz from any chip.

If you wanted to save some cash half the size of the SSD as not sure you need 512gb one but depends on price differential.

Allow me to be of service to you good sir. It funny you should post this thread as I have in my posession some items that may or may not interest you. And at a price I think you might find reasonable. Here's how this works out.

While the sandybridge 2500/2600k are old now they can be overclocked relatively better than today equivalent. I ran my i2600k at 4.8ghz. You can do the overclocking thing and do some slight hardware changes like MG and weets have suggested. And it is very very sound advice. But I offer you another suggestion to take into consideration. I can help you with either.

I have an i6700k+Msi Motherboard+ram. The motherboard is MSI titantium. The ram is corsair Vengeance 3200mhz white led ram. I can throw in a free windows 10 key a hard drive I have loads lying around. ANd Becuase I have known you a long time I can do it cheaper than what I would do it to non BFB members. I can also as I am close to my holiday come down and help you build it. Or I can build it here and you can come and collect it. It doesnt take me long to build a pc.I also have spare power supplies, spare graphics cards, spare sounds cards, sapre pc cases, spare watercooling whatever you need. Let me get some pics up for you when I got time.
