Have to say this and i really don't care if it offends anyone. I am sick to death of going on our server and it being all BFB and regulars round after round totally raping the other side. I took a couple of pals on the other night and was embarrassed after telling them what a great bunch of lads you were. Round after round nobody jumped across onto our loosing team. They kept on saying surely this is stacking....yes ...yes it was. I know a couple of the guys jump across now and again but the majority don't. One maybe two rounds on the same side(even that's a push) fine but there is no excuse after that. If all this community wants to do is win and doesn't give a **** about others gaming experience.. i'm sorry but i don't want to be a part of it. You must see the amount of guys complaining about it on the other side..to me they are potential BFB members that you are completely putting off having anything to do with BFB...
yeh it is a problem . if our server is full ,which it is most of the time. I don't bother waiting anymore and play on other servers . a lot to do with unfair sides. BFB members did swap teams a lot in 2142(ie tunis) and it made a difference . our server used to get a lot of positive comments about it as well . I guess the old days have gone .
I have been on both sides of this and concur, its not great to start each round (Especially locker) fully expecting to get raped. trouble is that in the old days we had more than 1 or possibly 2 squads of BFBers on at once. Nowadays we generally have one squad - who probably joined the game by clicking the name on their contact list, then a couple of stragglers, with real late guys only getting slots on the losing side cos disgruntled peeps left. We also have a couple of regular crews who always play together and side switch to be with BFB, like [FAP], [Fig4] and before they were mostly banned [FAST]. So until we get more BFB peeps on - sharing evenly between the two sides will be more of a challenge. Add to this the fact we are "Official" and actively want the "play button" noobs to join and you get a disjointed team with no idea of effective squad play on one side, and then 1 or even 2 good squads on the other side working together which shifts the balance and wins round after round. Is there an option to scramble teams after rounds, or swap the top squad out with the worst on the losing team each game? Trying to swap piecemeal is not easy when the server is full, and it is a squad that will make the difference, not individuals
last night I was on & I asked both FAP & BFB if one them could switch to making a bit more fair not sure if they did in the end as I came off got feed up of been beat round after round.
FAP are purely there to stat pad and points whore so no way they would swap, but as I said, on a full server its not as easy as you think to swap, also nearing the end of the round you cant swap either. I do not believe there is an option to move the whole squad so peeps have to be prepared to move as they can and form up another squad which could take time, thereby diluting the effect you are after in trying to strengthen the other side
We've all been on a stacked team, and we've all been on the losing team. It's not just BFB though. There's been a few times where I've been in a squad with Thrasher, Reaper and a couple other decent players and no matter how many times you get down the outside to cap a flag you lose it as soon as you get killed because the rest of team has no clue. The key is honesty. It shouldn't be down to being asked to move, or even a server mod that will balance the teams. If you feel the previous round was too easy switch across. There are a couple clans that we have banned from our servers as they just stack on one team. If people feel that other clans are popping up in their places they need to let us know so we can take the required action.
I'm really glad there has been a positive response to this. I know its a Pain in the arse jumping around the server but it just makes the server so much more enjoyable for everyone!
Have to say when its on operation locker i love having the side stacked against me Makes me work hard for my kills. Plus its always nice killing the BFB guys XD
Well i remember Reaper used to change sides for a bit of a challenge so don't blame entire community.
