    some hints about running your tests :) never choose London unless you living there you can ping to Paris better than you do to London most times and i have found Manchester to give a better score avg for maximum potential of your line :) thou i have not tested much to Scotland and wales

    Depends on the routes your ISP have I suppose.

    Though, I've found that the best server for testing your speed in Europe is OVH (Roubaix, France) as they have a ridiculous amount of bandwidth :)

    I've had my upgrade to 152mbps but my TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND is only giving me 120mbps, whilst the superhub 2 is giving me 160mbps. What routers are you guys using if not the superhub? TP-Link say there is an attenuation on the ports, so that is why there is a speed drop! Should i ditch my trusty TP Link!!

    Cheers MG. Surely gigabit ports are gigabit ports and should not slow the connection!?


    So apparently thay are all gigabit ports, but the Wan to Lan throughput is limited to 125mbps.
