Well, since I moved back to California this week, I though I would ask where you all live....I was in Europe for 11 of the best years of my life....and the most painful...divorce.. So I went from -2 degrees C to 25 in 24 hours of flying....the weather here is so perfect, but I miss my girls in CZ....and my lil 5yo mini me too! Girls...my Doctor, her 2 daughters, my daughter, and the little boy who his sister likes to dress as a disney princess....
I'm still in sunny old Somerset. Where in California are you? Is that where you used to live before you moved to Czech?
Yes, I'm back home in Silicon Valley. I'm in Campbell right now but all the cities here are an urban sprawl so we call it an area. Specifically the Greater San Francisco Bay Area or Bay Area for short. I'm a half a mile from San Jose, California. It's very strange being back after almost 11 years but I need a new gig. Here there is so much work for a security expert like me. So I am here, already close to a new job. I'm actually sorry I left Europe, but life doesn't always give you what you want, I still have my lovely GF in CZ and I hope I can get back to her and my children. Been gone not even a week and I miss her so much. So...got a very interesting opportunity that could make me a major equity partner in a new venture with a couple of my old friends. I just need to bring in a few 100k in business and I already have a solid lead on doing that. Best part of all this is that it's February and its 22 degrees here! Summer already! First thing I had to do was get shorts as I thought it would be colder and didn't bring any warm weather clothes!!!!
....and the sequel is that I was in the hot tub outside chatting with a couple recruiters....and the pale Czech conditioned skin I have got MAJORLY sunburned!!!! Blisters and all....it's snowing in Czech and I want to go back so I can ice my burns by doing naked snow angels!!!
