Hi Guys, As some of you know on friday the mic on my PC 151s started playing up. As such i have begun a search for a replacement and was wondering what headset everyone else uses. so....what headset do you use and would you recommend it? Amrish
I got the Creative Fatality headset. After going through about 3-4 headsets in about 2 years I've had this one for 2 years now and works perfect. It is cheap as well (about 20GBP). Does the job so would definitely recommend it
I've got the Asus Echelon. Just under £60. Very comfortable (even with glasses on) and great sound, although I'm not an audiophile.
im looking at these ..... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-003-QP&groupid=702&catid=1058 any thoughts?
I was perfectly happy with my Creative Fatal1ty cans they are a great all round headset for the price and I use them as my mobile headset for movies on the move. My headset of choice is the Steelseries 5H v2 the sound is a lot clearer than most cans i've tried but the bass is also reduced to enable you to hear different sounds more clearly. This makes them great for gaming but not so great for movies and music. Comfort 10/10 Gaming 10/10 Music 8/10 Movies 7/10
dont know qpad myself, been using the razer megladons since they came out 4 years ago. Never had a problem, and they also dont require a sound card
tbh i wanted to stay clear of USB headsets with inbuilt soundcards because i have an asus d2x that i want to take advantage of.
i use a PC360 had Roccat kave before but the mic stops working after awhile shame since best sounding headset ive used had the PC151's before that
right, ive gone for the QPAD QH-90 set. ill get them tomorrow and will let you know what they are like, they seem like a bit of a beast.
i'm enjoying these : turtle beach px22 http://www.amazon.co.uk/PX22-PS3-Xbox-360-Headset/dp/B00BDS415I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384808490&sr=8-1&keywords=turtle+beach+px22
Roccat Kaves here, love them, but the new roccat kaves xtd's are inbound in a couple of weeks i believe
I use the Sennheiser PC363D at home and on the road I use the SB Tactic 3d Wrath headset. which you can use wirlessly too. Both are great.
I'm another one chipping in for the Creative Fatal1ty, they're modestly priced for the amount of use and quality Ive had out of them. This particular pair are heading into their 3rd year of usage.
I have the creative headset as well. I found the ear pads were a little on the small side and nowhere near as comfy as the sennheisers, but then I have a big head, (As my mother can attest-forceps birth, lol). It is down to personal choice. for a cheap reliable set they work well. If you just want comfort and performance and arent so worried about money, the PC36X range is amazing
I own the Razer Megaloden - 7.1 surround sound. Its pricey and gets a bit hot (around the ears) after extended us.. but it is niiiice
