Who Has A Xbox One Or Ps4?

    yay MG is back with the gorks:)

    Weets>My brother has a PS4 and BF4 and it looks fine. This is when you consider he is playing though an ordinary HDTV and not a dedicated monitor. I have no idea what bf4 is like on Xbox1 should be more or less the same on the ps4.

    EA access is where you pay a monthly subscription fee and you can access EA games library. Kind of netflix for games on consoles. Never tried it personally.

    I wish I had got a 5kimac or Mac Pro as it would of worked out more cheaper than my current project. Estimating the final cost including the cabling for the afore mentioned project I could of bought a 5k iMac and pretty much the top of the range Mac pro at the same time. But hopefully I will manage to source the items I need and then do a proper write up on it.

    Picked up BF4 for a paltry £20 pre-owned, and it does indeed look fine. I can't shoot a god damned thing with a pad though. I'm playing through the SP campaign to get some practise.

    From what I could see of EA Access, it's not their entire library, just older stuffs.

    Had a look at the 5K Macs today; oooooooooh. The missus would have killed me.

    Yup. And a good few accessories :)

    Gonna have to invest in a decent external drive as it's filling up fast. If you get one, make sure to leave space under the TV for the power brick - it's ****ing huge.

    It's a fun little system. It's nice not to have to tweak and **** about with settings.

    Oh, GAME do a little charging station type cradle thingy which sits 2 controllers. Comes with 2 rechargeable battery packs and is a steal at a paltry £10. Highly recommended, Lights up red/green too as they're charging/charged and looks pretty.

    You can't put a bigger hd in the xbox can you?

    Will need a decent headset too, any recommendations?

    You can't swap the internal, but you can add an external as long as it's usb3 and >250 gig


    I got the MS stereo headset cos it was cheap. Haven't tried it yet but I shall report back on my findings.

    Maybe I should invest in the ms one as well.

    You cannot change the internal hard drive. But you can transfer everyting via USB 3.0 and an external drive.

    The headset is pretty darned good. Volume is independent from the telly, so you can mute the TV for late night gaming without disturbing the missus / neighbours / entire street.

    The headset requires a firmware update to the controller first though - don't forget!

    I don;t have destiny on the xb1 only on the ps4. But I do need to get a headset for the xb1 don;t htink I can be dealing with the freebie nasty stuff that sony and xb1 bundle with their consoles.
